Stansky is a founding Partner of The SCA Group, LLC and also currently serves as a Director of the Turnaround Management Association’s Florida Chapter. Previously he was a Senior Equity Partner in the Southeast Florida practice of Tatum LLC.
Stansky’s 35-year career includes serving as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer in public, private, and emerging growth companies in the manufacturing, distribution and technology segments.
Prior to Tatum, Stansky was affiliated with the Sutter Group while maintaining an independent turnaround advisory practice for 10 years with diverse engagements as Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operation Officer and Senior Advisor to the Chief Executive Officer, with public and private clients ranging from $6 million to $1.3 billion revenue. He led recapitalization, turnaround, profit enhancement, rationalization, bankruptcy, and section 363 sales initiatives. His clients included a tier one multinational automotive supplier, the largest domestic refiner and marketer of sugar, an international printer of consumer product folding cartons, a manufacturer of capital goods for the metal processing and steel industry, and an aerospace manufacturer of machined parts for commercial and civil segments.
He was Chief Financial Officer of Coating Technologies International (CTI), a private equity owned manufacturer of pressure sensitive materials with $200 million revenue. At CTI he installed activity based cost reporting systems and championed lean manufacturing initiatives which facilitated an operational turnaround culminating with the sale of all business units as going concerns, repayment of all bank debt, and a 16 percent return to equity. Prior to CTI, he held financial management positions with Rogers Corporation, Armour Dial, and Marathon Oil.
Stansky holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan.
